Case Study - Ultra HNI House, Delhi

Problem

This existing residence of a prominent individual is located in the Friends Colony of Delhi. The structure was surrounded by high traffic areas, large spaces with open drains, Railway lines. However, the PM 2.5 and VOC values were observed to be in the extreme zone. The client demanded a future-ready, PM1.0 solution, along with complete clean air that provided CO2 control.

Solution

After thorough technical analysis and evaluating various clean air technological solutions, a unique offering was made i.e Magneto Central Air Cleaner. MCAC is India’s first ISO 16890, ePM1 ready based on the trap and kill technology with a unique patent-pending VOC filtration system was applied without any modification to any existing spaces. MCAC was applied in a total of 5 of their aircon units, retrofitted in 4 Cassette AC units, and in 1 Split AC.

Impact

  • There was a significant reduction in VOC levels and PM2.5 levels - from 149 μg/m3 it was efficiently reduced to less than 8 μg/m3.
  • The multistage air filtration of MCAC effectively controlled the CO2 levels inside the premises.
  • Real-time air quality monitor ensured the performance of MCAC and the safety of residents and assets.
  • Due to the low-pressure drop, there were significant energy savings.
