Case Study - Airbus

Problem

Airbus, the World’s Largest Airline Manufacturers was noticing peculiar air congestions in their indoor ambiance. After investigating and assessing, it was identified that the indoor air quality is getting poor day by day due to high levels of PM 2.5 and other airborne contaminants. On another hand, they were also worried about the safety of their employees and trainees as the coronavirus cases were growing markedly. They were looking for an air purification provider with a technology that could meet all their safety needs with handy installation and could finalize the project, in the given period.

Solution

Airbus has a stringent selection process, in which a thorough analysis from technical, HVAC experts was conducted. They decided to opt for the Magneto Central Air Cleaner with UVGI Tubes. This powerful air sanitization solution was retrofitted in a total of 21 Cassette Air Conditioning units. It was a perfect solution for their requirement.

Impact

  • A sharp reduction in PM 2.5 levels was observed at Airbus with MCAC – from the level of 404 μg/m3 within the building, the average PM2.5 level of less than 4 μg/m3 is maintained.
  • MCAC's Trap & Kill process isn't just absorbing but also destroying the coronavirus family of viruses, while the UVGI technology is further disinfecting the building from all kinds of germs, bacteria, dust, mold, and harmful gases, constantly providing complete air protection for all buildings occupants.
  • Quantified clean air is delivered with live air quality tracking through the Dr. Air monitoring sensor.
